Wild Hearts
Wild Hearts is a celebration of the untamed spirit within us all.
Created during a season where I stepped away from perfection and embraced intuitive mark making, this painting became a reminder that life isn't meant to be lived cautiously. It's about following curiosity, embracing adventure and trusting the path that unfolds before you.
Layered throughout the artwork are symbols that have become part of my visual language. A weathered cowboy boot speaks of resilience and the journeys we walk. A wild horse embodies freedom and courage. Coastal vessels, sunshine, handwritten words and abstract forms represent memories collected along the way, each one contributing to the story without demanding a single interpretation.
Painted in soft earthy neutrals with touches of blush, gold and coastal blues, Wild Hearts balances strength with softness. It invites the viewer to pause, explore the layers and discover their own meaning within the work.
For me, this painting is about choosing a life that feels true to you. It's a reminder to stay open to possibility, to trust your instincts and to protect the wild heart that exists beneath the expectations of everyday life.
